ABOUT US
Zed Filmes - Curtas e Longas, is a production company hosted in Coimbra, established by the director António Ferreira in 1999. Zed began with the production of fiction films, having expanded in the last years it's activity to documentary, music videos, institutional and advertisement.
Zed gathers a young and creative team, widely reflected on our work, where quality and originality are our main goals.

Miguel Triantafillo - Writer / Creative

Miguel Triantafillo was born at about 40 years ago in the improbable place called Maria Vinegar. By matter of chance and because of his curiosity, he managed to escape and graduated in Economics. After a brief passage as a public employee in Lisbon, heads to Brussels where he travels in the eurocrats train for three years. Like his hometown, the Europe capital did not understand him, so he heads to comopolitan London, where he gets a MBA (in his case, Masters of Bullshit Administration). Works at a consulting company, gets addicted to curry, japonese food and on being on his time limit. Unfortunately, is caught in the "technological bubble" and returns to Oporto. He becomes adept to Portuguese food again until he is diagnosised as hypertense, characteristic that accumulates with hypercreativity and compulsive writing.
Collaborates in several creative projects with Zed, wich work as a kind of cerebral ventilator. |
Luísa Marinho - Director

Was born in Oporto on February 25th, 1978. Studied Audio Visual Communication at the Oporto/Center Multimedia Institute of Jornalists.
Worked as a jornalist on the cultural section of "O Comércio do Porto" daily newspaper.

Sandra Castiço - Director

Sandra Castiço, was born in 1983 in Braga. She studies Film-Making in the UBI – Covilhã, Portugal. Rockumentary is her debut film.

Tiago Sousa - Director
 |
Tiago Sousa was born in Maia, Portugal, in 1982. He is currently concluding his graduation in Cinema, Direction branch, at “Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema”, in Lisbon.
He has directed two short films in the school: “Novelos” and “A Tigela” (The Bowl). In 2007 he was one of the winners of the “Jovens Criadores” (Young Creators) award, in the discipline of literature, with the collection of small stories "Colecção de Animais” (Collection of Animals) that integrated the book “Jovens Escritores 2007” (Young Writers 2007). |
